IN MEMORIAM
Gideon Y. Schein
June 14, 1947 – December 14, 2020
We are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend, business partner, and co-founder of the Eddy & Schein Group. Gideon’s caring spirit lives on in the values of our company, as it does in the lives of the many clients he helped as well as others in the worlds of business and education, film and television entertainment, and the performing arts. His generosity and commitment to the success of others are evidenced across the precious circle of family, friends, and associates he curated throughout his entire life.

He was a blessing to us in life. Such enthusiasm for our profession (and for lots of other things in life, like theatre)!

Gideon Schein was a member of the Pasadena Village since April 2019. He was on the Board of Directors at the Parson’s Nose Theater. Gideon was a wonderful friend, warm, enthusiastic and interested in everything. He was also a cherished and very active participant of the 1619 discussion group and on December 4th, he even joined the 1619 discussion from his hospital room. He will be greatly missed.
Gideon was a pillar in the AADMM community; passionate about our work, welcoming to new members.
Since I have known him, I never had a conversation with Gideon where he didn’t want an update on my daughter and her horse competitions and my son and his baseball. On the last troika I had with him, we both automatically knew to stay on after everybody else left to get caught up. I am really going to miss him.
Gideon was truly a leader in our industry.
Gideon was widely known for the depth and breadth of his expertise, as well as for his caring spirit, generosity and commitment to the success of others.
