The Eddy & Schein Group was born in response to a simple request made by friends and family members: “I’m overwhelmed by all this financial stuff. Can you help me?”
Since we already had the requisite financial skills from our “day jobs,” education, and involvement with our parents, our answer was, “Yes, we can.” So, we started helping friends and associates, which led us to create a business of our own, shaped specifically around the changing needs of the Greatest Generation, as well as Baby Boomers moving into retirement. Some 25+ years later, we’re providing support, counsel, and security for a diverse range of clients – strengthened by the common themes and lessons learned across our client base. And while the skills to handle personal finances were second nature, what really defined Eddy & Schein over the years was the trust we built with our clients.
Each year our why became clearer, and our offerings evolved to fit the circumstances of the people trusting us with the intimate and often complex world of their personal finances.
That world often involves relationships with both immediate and extended family, as well as long-time, trusted professionals; and these relationships can reflect a range of changing circumstances and emotions, sometimes including fear and frustration.
Ultimately, we know that the reason Eddy & Schein exists is to deliver assurance, built on the trust and transparency that gives our clients confidence in what we do and how we do it. That’s why the center of our universe is you, and why we see and treat you as an extension of the friends and family with whom we started.
